Default What's with all the hissing?

I have the upgraded Pioneer stereo with the IPOD capability. It's the first time I've ever had my IPOD hooked up through a car stereo. Things sound fine through head phones and the speaker dock, but I get some hissing on some songs through the car stereo. Some songs are fine though. Is this normal?

the problem could just be with the songs on the ipod, the ipod headphones suck and its hard to differentiate between a song encoded a 192kbs and a song encoded at 92 kbs im sure the speakers on the tc are better than the headphones and the lower quality of the song might be causeing the bissing, go on your comp and see what there encoded at and see if the hissing is only on songs with low kbs rates

Just about all the songs are encoded at 128 kbs

Some are at 192

Even the ones that are hissing are at 128 kbs

Is there a way to change the bit rate?

128 should be good enough it would have to be alot lower to notice a different on your car speakers

Maybe it's just the cd's then? It's weird that some songs do it and some don't. Most of the songs on my IPOD are from CD's not ITUNES or other MP3's I've downloaded
