Default Whats better for under $400?

Jensen, Pioneer, Eclipse, or Panasonic?

which one of those is better including the model number for under $400?

please help because i have a jensen right now, and i just put in a ps2 in my car, and for some apparent reason the quality of the ps2 on the jensen is bad

any help please?

even Eclipse base models are solid HU's, even if they're not as flashy as others in the price range.

Any eclipse unit or any Pioneer Premier unit. Just buy the most expensive one you can. Look around millionbuy.com or woofersetc.com.

the bare minimum I would recommend is the CD3100.

Its currently $250 at crutchfield.

Are you just trying to replace your OEM unit? What (if any) features do you need? How many RCA outputs do you need? Will you need any Digital Signal Processing (eq, time alignment, crossover)? MP3 playback capability? Bluetooth? Steering wheel control compatible? Who's installing this? Do you want a warranty?

Keep your Jensen, the LCD makes your PS2s graphics suck! If you want a nicer quality video on the PS2... You have to find an LCD screen with a higher resolution than the Jensen.

(But, I really think LCDs suck on quality with the yellow or coax connections...)

I second that. I have viewed the pioneer, jvc, eclipse and clarion... they are all lacking when you consider the price we pay for these things. The screens should be much better. RCA video input does not help matters much either. Even viewing a DVD movie directly from these source units, you can still find quality flaws.

Of course there are going to be some that will say the image on their unit looks excellent but then ones idea of quality might be completely different from anothers.

Im ready for a double din hi def unit with bluray, hd dvd with hdmi and component input

Eclipse head units are easy to integrate with the tC's steering wheel controls.

wtf, are you talking about? Even if they did come out next year (do you have any links?) they'll be over $400.

lol I think he's being sarcastic. No one would need a 4" HD screen...and BluRay players are $500-$1000 atm.
