Default Whelen Strobe Kit -S690CCCC

Hey has anyone installing a Whelen Strobe Kit -S690CCCC yet? I ordered it and was able figure out the instructions, turns out i need 4 or 5 switches to use all the options.

This is the kit BTW
http://www.vlsusa.com/cgi-bin/vlsusa/S690CCCC.html

I understand there is some drilling to do into the headlights which isnt a problem, but there is anything else i should be aware of?

thanks

yes, cops use whelen, cops also only use 60watt lights, yours is a 90watt kit... why do you say you need so many switches? i have 2 csp660s in my car, with 10 bulbs... i have 2 switches, one turns the lights on/off the other changes the pattern, why would you need more? and good luck hiding the power supply, that thing is massive and 2 of them was a ____ing nightmare, now i want a 3rd :p

edit: and as far as whats better... price wise sho-me is better, but for actually reliability and quality the order would be whelen > code3> sho-me

i use a momentary paddle switch to change the pattern.

passenger side floor board, remove the panel under the glove box, remove the carpet from behind the waterfall... you can tuck one behind the waterfall, or sit it on top of the panel.

when installing remember, if you turn on the juice at any point, DONT TOUCH THE BULB OR CONNECTORS for at least 10 minutes, you will get the shock and burn of a life time...

if you have a csp power supply they require very little breathing room, so just shove it anywhere you feel comfortable with, making sure teh fan is not directly blocked.

pick up light, decide where you want the bulb.... pick up drill, make hole.... i think its a 1.5" hole needed... the strobes in my tail lights are in the reverse circles, because i have LEDs, and i drilled the hole under the bulb hole, going to the top of the light. the bulbs in my head lights replaced my high beams...

Now the bulb does not need to be in the reflector housing correct? I was looking at my headlights today and thinking about placing them on the bottom portion in front of the high beam. No freaking idea though.
