by bass do you mean the factory sub?
I think the factory sub is wiried in with the front speakers in this case , im not sure. Usually they will be wired with the rear.
Why not just leave the fader in the middle?
That way you get all the speakers working?

guys i didn't literally mean "rear door speakers" i meant the ones in the back seat. and they where working perfect and then all of a suddent the bass just didnt work on those back 2 speakers.
They weren't really meant to produce a lot of bass. I'm sure its there you just can't hear it or the speakers can't reproduce it. Who cares anyway its the back you shouldn't worry about listening to music back there. . .
There's another SSP mode for the car it's in. I have an '08 XB and when it was set to XB the rears sounded like you are describing from your car. When I switched it to a non-car specific mode they came to life.
bro my problem with that is that they where working on feel perfect then they just stoped.

The reason for this problem has been stated... The stock subwoofer in the hatch area of your car is wired to the front speakers. When you fade to the rear speakers you are also getting rid of the subwoofer which probably makes it seem like there is nearly no bass. You will not be able to change this without rewiring a lot of stuff. I hope this answers your question.
If you're adventurous, you can go to the hatch area and take up the flooringto where you can see your spare tire. Once there, you can find the wiring harness for the stock subwoofer toward the right side by the rear edge... kinda by the hook for the latch. It's a simple plug with somewhere around seven wires... It has a black connecter. If you disconnect this, you'll see what I mean. You won't have bass when you fade to the front, rear or anywhere else.
ohh but i could have sworn that i had bass coming from those 2 speakers. i know that i have the sub in the back. if u say i dont then idk. u might be right. i guess i could have been imagining the bass.
r u sure that there isnt any bass in those speakers??????

well, it's not that there's not ANY bass.... it's just really weak. The back speakers are paper... The front ones are some type of plastic and have a better surround. I'm just guessing they're not able to reproduce bass very well... it just amplifies the problem that the sub is hooked up to the front.
