Default Will a PSP connect to and work with the iPod jack?

Hello, this is my inaugural post!
I've been "eye-balling" the scion tc for my next car purchase.
Been doing some research and tracking certain subjects on this forum.

This is a great little site, me likey. Looks like a great community of tc owners as well.

So anyways, back to my question...

Will a PSP connect to and work with the iPod jack?

I also have a Motorola SLVR L7 which might work.

Anybody ever try one of these things?

if only that would work.. =[. however your not fully out of luck because there is still an AUX jack where you can plug in the PSP and watch or play games through the car radio speakers (sounds good btw). thats what i do. If your motorola SLVR L7 has a headphone jack (1/8") then yes you can plug it in again through the AUX port. and tC is an awesome car =]. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the reply ADR. So from what I understand, I'll be able to plug it into the jack and listen to audio through the speakers but I won't be able to control the playback via the stereo... do I have it right?

yes yo do. i dont mind it really. cause i made a custom mount for my psp and routed the aux port to the left side of the cetner console near my right leg. it works really well (so i dont have a cable reaching from the aux port to my psp which i "mounted" infront of the stereo cover. i dont even think there is anything like that other than the sony remote that comes with the psp just yet.

NICE! That is pretty wild! So now you got the game system, video and mp3 player all right there in front of you. Great setup man!

Whenever I get around to making my car purchase I just might have to do the same.

ADR, can you tell us how you mounted that? This setup looks like a good idea.

all i did was i found some L-brackets ( i just bent the hell out of those clips used for some spare garage remote controllers ) but they have to be skinny (to fit under the cover). Then i just wrapped the edges (cause they were a bit sharper than i would like) with Gaff tape (stage tape.. you dont have to use this cause its like 30 a roll but i have good acccess at work. lol) to soften out the edges. then i put little rubber feet (spare the cute comments on this line.. lol) on the side where the psp goes to let my psp angle and stay at that angle without it slipping. thats about it. as for installing it, i just slide the braces in when my cover is half closed, then when its fully closed i just adjust it to make the psp leveld. ill try to post pics seomtime if you guys need them =].
