im going to put LEDs in my glove box and my center console i want to wire them so when i turn on the drivers side map light these new LEDs will come on... where do i find the power wire for this? is it going to be at the map/dome light or down at the fuse box?

(I searched, everyone else wires them to the dome light, not the map light...)

 

well mine are to the domelights negative wire and then also hooked to a 2way 3prong LED rocker switch so i can have even more control once my doors are closed.

 

i dont want a switch, only because i already have 4 in the stock location and dont wanna put another one somewhere else.

i dont want them on the dome light because i dont want to have the ominous glow coming from the cracks every time the door opens lol

i know the dome light harness is 4 or 5 wires, anyone know what does what?

i think its red blue white and black (if memory serves)
