ok so i searched and found nothing.

i'm putting on a cf hatch tonight, so i'm currently in the process of removing the stock one. i have all the wires off the hatch except for the main one that's on top (found behind the top middle panel at the very top of the hatch) that goes into the car. i'm not too sure about this, but i am guessing that i just have to cut the wires there and rewire them in order to get the hatch off, or is there just a clip? i'm stuck waiting at this part. next thing i physically need to do is take off 6 bolts to free the hatch.

does anyone know if it's a clip or if i just have to cut and rewire them? i don't want to rewire if i don't have to.

ok didn't really have to figure it out. friend just delivered the cf hatch, his wires were all set, so i just cut the wires and just have to rewire them and reground them.

but to anyone who needs that first question answered - there is no clip.

 

the plug is deeper.. located in the headliner..

NO CUTTING wires!

 

ahhhhh, had no clue. wouldn't have mattered really. all his wires were cut.

 

you can't just reuse yours? uhm.. yea.. :?
