but i dont know 1 radiator is enough for 2 sub?

and btw i need room in my trunk thats why i need small enclosure and passive radiator

and make small box w/o the radiator will sound bad isnt it?
I've got an infinity basslink now, and it really cant keep up with the rest of my system. I need my trunk space too which is why I got it. But if your all about putting in a decent system, I'd say pass on the basslink. Btw, does anyone want to buy mine?

the basslink isnt too bad. it all depends what your looking for. my friend has it in his tC and its enough to say that theres a small sub, with a decent amount of noticeable lowend.. just dont expect to set off car alarms with it . but for the easy listener, its pretty good imo.

Don't get me wrong, it was great when I only had the stock system and nothing more, it filled in the low end perfectly. But when I switched out the head unit, speakers and added 30lbs of sound deadener, all of a sudden it became the weak link of the equation. Thats all......

basslink t is looks good because its selfpowered and doesnt take too much room.

i woukd be happy with a basslink with 2 10 inch sub and 1 passive radiator and of course... selfpowered.
but this is not existing.

i was thinkin to get a 12 inch rockford plus amp
ask someone to make a custom fit box and put the sub in it and hang the amp on the side of the box.

but.... big sub + little box= cheap sound ( am i right?)

or here is an other one:

get the custom box two 12 inch hole and a flat side to put the amp. put one boston sub and put one boston passive radiator.

or put two sub, but as i said i dont know how is it gonna sound.

What kind of problems have you heard of with our speakers?

The older flat cones had some issues, but those are from 3+ years ago.

you're probably looking at a rockford that'll be a little louder, sound a lot worse, and be 3 times the price than the 13Kv... that's just my thought....

How much are you wanting to spend?

i can buy the best 12inch from the punch line just for.. like.. 120..130 dollars...

best mean: stage3

btw i found the boston g5 sub and the same height what ed have. ( 6inch)

aaaand sorry but im looking for "brand" and i dont know you guys. (=ED)

btw im thinkin on boston because they have passive radiators..

but i dont know what to do. i know im gona have small custom fit box.. go with one 12 inch sub + a 12 inch radiator..
or just go two 12 inch sub?
but two 12 inch in a little space??? even worst sound.. right?

It depends on what the speaker is designed for whether or not it will sound bad in a small enclosure.

Look at the recommended box sizes from the manufacturer.

Also, is there a specific reason you're so hung up on the idea of getting a passive radiator in your car? It's usually a better option just to get a second speaker.

2 12" Elemental Designs 13Ov.2's in a 2ft^3 box with a Nine.1 = WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13Ov.2 = $135 per sub
Nine.1 = $315
Box from ED = around $100-$125 or something

I guarantee this will outperform the stage 3 rockfords by far

ok, i went to the local audio shop or whatever and they didnt recommend to put 2 sub in one "small" custom fit box.

but to make a custom fit box is 400 by them.. LOL.. a little too much.

and they dont recommend to put the amp down there, next to the 5th wheel.because its gonna overheated.

What subs weren't they recommending to put two in a box?

What size box was it?

Amps in the floor work fine, there's many people here on SL that have done it. Hell, mine are behind my rear panels, working great.
