Default Worth it to install seats ina TC?

I seen a lot people installing bucket seats on their tc and i used to think that it is pretty ridiculous to install bucket seats in a tc but, now i've been wanting to install a seat too. I've been looking around morejapan.com for some seats and was surprise to see how pricey they are but non the less i kinda want one so what im asking is...is it worth it to install after market seats?

I'm considering seats just because I can lol..something on the "maybe list" of things to do..is the bride the one you decided on or just for reference? IMO bride is overpriced..I would check out Sparco or Corbeau..prices aren't to bad and I've heard good things from both.

The Corbeau A4 is a popular seat and I think the Sparco Torino 2 is pretty nice as well

those badass seats that you are paying over 1g a piece for can kill you or your passenger. I would personally choose the Recaro

just a reference ill definitely consider other seats now that i saw the vids... but brides good seat none-the-less. Also there are lot of imitation brands out there an d im pretty sure those are the ones that gets all beat up after an accident.

but what about the tc's WITH side airbags in the seats? How do you solve that? The only one I found was Recaro has a $$$$ seat with airbags in it. What's the solution besides that?

how the hell would that work ? those were real brides in that video not imitations. that recaro was not as bad but kinda scary that the seat went back like that.

yeah, well, i've been told that if you have side impact air bags in the seats, you absolutely should not swap the seats out because it will make all the airbags stop working.

there are people who were able to get around that. They still have all the other airbags active..minus the ones in the seatas of course.

Yea, you have to transfer all the connection for the old seat and put them on the new seats. You lose the side air bags but the rest of the system will still function. I that what I have seen, I know I would like to keep all my airbags

^^ then there is some wiring work around to not have the airbag light constantly on, on the dash?

i guess then the only safe thing left is to find/buy that expensive (but very nice) recaro that has the airbags in them.

I just wantto point out one thing here... The tC already has "bucket" seats. You're just looking at replacing them with some of the racing variety
