My sister is the type that never know what she wants for Christmas so me and my Dad are trying to figure something out. She loves my XM system I have in my car (I have the Roady XT installed in front of the cubby hole below the HVAC.) However, even I feel that it is a bit unsafe at times since I have to look completely away from the road to do anything with it. My question to you guys is if ya'll have any other functional locations to put in an XM system and keep the clean look of the interior intact.

i had a delphi XM radio unit mounted between the two center vents just above the console. It didn't look too bad, and it was high enough up on the console where i wouldnt take my eyes off the road

i since took it down. If you live in a warm climate, the mounting tape will most likely melt off after a few months. I would post a pic, but like i said, i took it down because i didnt like XM enough.
