**Pics**(Night Shots - 56K beware huge pics)
I just recieved my PIAA Tera bulbs, but dont know how to install them because the instructions are in Japanese. If someone who speaks Japanese can translate this page for me into english, (google wont do it for whatever reason) that would be great.

You have to click the little orange box under the pics, then click on the enter button, and then scroll down that page to get to the PIAA part. Sorry but I am unable to link directly to that page.

wow, i was just thinking today if you had recieved those led's or not!
and there shouldn't be much to installing them. plug 'em in that accent light spot and turn on the parking lights and play around with the "ballast" and take some pics, especially vs. pics comparing them to the standard bulb that the tc comes with if you can.

I translated the page with babel fish, but it kind of didnt make sense. I dont understand which wires I have to cut or overall what to do. Here is a picture of the entire kit

As you can see there are 2 ballasts, some connectors, etc.
These other pics are really bad, but you can kind of see the difference between the stock wedge bulb and this one...

Please excuse the huge low quality pics, I used a camera phone.

ok jrv, here is what I can glean from the broken text and pictures. Most of the text is warnings like you might fry your harness if you don't know what you are doing. He says that you should check your socket first to make sure that the new LED bulb will fit. If it doesn't then this is going to be a real DIY job. He says take out your parking light and clip the positive wire a few inches back. (Not sure what color that is on a tC but it is either the colored wire or you can check around in the forums, this has been posted before) now install the bullet connectors, (Insulative tubing first, or use WD40 after like he had to (laughing)) and install the bullet connectors on the ballast wires. The ballasts are connected inline with the power wire and the current flows from the A in PIAA to the P. i.e. the P side of the ballast is next to the socket. Install the bulbs (they are polarized, and there should be a marking on the bulb for positive, this goes to the side of the socket with the ballast) and take some pictures so we can see. He says he is impressed by the brightness even in the day time. I can't read Japanese but I can read bablefish.
BTW he says that the bulb side with the small black mark is the positive side.

Thanks KWC, I'll try the install tomarrow, and hopefully it will work. Just have to find out which one of the wires are positive. It seemed as though the bulbs fit, they are 194 wedge bulbs after all, but their base looked bigger than the stock one. Is it possible that they needed the ballast to light up?
Ya, but thats not the page I need. You have to click on that little orange box under the pics of the car with the Tera lights, then click on the enter button on the bottom of the next page. Anyways, I already got it translated from icdedppl, but the install info is still hard to understand.

I don't believe the little pods are "ballasts". After researching a little bit, it looks like they could be as simple as resistors, or something to limit the amperage the bulb receives. If those PIAA bulbs really do use Luxeon emitters, they're supposed to be limited to 100mA. Sounds like a simple install, though, you just need to splice the pods in-line with the positive wire to the bulb. I look forward to seeing how the install goes!
Little problem, there is no brown wire on the bulb. There is a white wire with a black strip down it, and there is a green wire. I called up toyota, and talked to their tech guys, and they said that they didnt know. I dont want to f up my wiring, so anyone know for certain before I cut anything?
