Default *HELP HELP HELP*

So i was coming home tonight and i was shifting up into 3rd and i hit a small bump in the road, well when that happened my foot slipped off the clutch a little, but i was in gear already, and i felt the motor rock back and forth 2 or 3 times really really hard, and smelled burning clutch really really bad, and the car died. So i pull over get the light out and start looking for something to be broken, no fluid leaking, nothing that i could see. But the clutch feels like it lost a little pressure and shifting is a little sloshlier. I am freaking out because its an 05 tc with 43xxx on it, i am out of warranty for the powertrain and do know where to start.

Any ideas on what the hell happened, i am at a lose here... And no i didnt not go into 5th!

any help is appericated!

I dont know how much I could help but between the bump and the fact that your foot slipped you might have thought it was worse then it really was? Let the car sit overnight and see what happens in the morning or if anything leaked overnight. There has been times when I went over massive pot holes and thought I blew my shocks, snapped my springs and broke a control arm.

Yeah, the way that your foot slipped and you say the car was in gear it may have slipped out right. I wouldn't worry too much, check in the morning im sure everything will be fine.

Well 23 is pretty low for 5th so I could assume it would. I would just let it rest, check in the morning. I'm sure everything will be fine.
