the engine didnt blow. look in the rear view, the rear blew out, you can see it in the rearview mirror. He lost control of the car.

 

he didnt say it blew he was talking about the first video that was called Give em hell kid at 41 sec i guess there is a engine shot

Thanks guys for all of the good words! we are just trying to do our best and put on a great show for any SCION owners that come out to our races.

The hatch in the Time Attack video did blow off at 120mph. We had someone install that rear hatch they cut a lot of material to save weight....(the hatch is carbon and lexan window lol how much weight can you save haha)

anyways the hatch broke off late from lack of material and on its way off too the rear wing which causes the car to lose all downforce traction in the rear when Chris was in a 120mph 4wheel drift around a turn. There was nothing he could do except hold on.

I saw Chris @ Scion VIP in Pomona last month but i didnt go over and say whats up. everytime i saw him, he was busy. But GL Chris and crew!

 

ok next time come over , Chris always has time for anyone. Especially a SCION owner. he probably will give you a run down of every car haha he loves showing off the racecars haha

if he's busy he'll take as much time as he can before the other people that need him start almost yelling for him to get his butt over there to "work".. lol
