Default *New Lights* ALSO - Lumanics VS Ebay Brand VS Stock

Alright heres the story... i bought a set of ebay brand lows for 20 bucks... a month later one burnt out... they were going to replace it for free but i had to pay to ship them out and pay to ship them back! so i said forget it... im getting lumanics! so i spent the extra money and got lumanics ultra blue lows and highs. in another thread someone called lumanics crap and said why not just buy the ebay brand... so i decided to compare them all and let you guys decide!

also included are pics of my randode blue under dash/under seats kit... as well ___ the upgraded LED dome lamps, cubby hole, and parking lights!

the pics are BIG! shows much better detail that way! so to make this thread 56k friendly im posting links rather than posting pics! so click at your own risk slow modems!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
***when looking at the pic... lumanics bulbs always on your left (except final pics with both lumanics)***

lumanics were installed on the left... ebay/stock were always on the right!

specs on the interrior bulbs here: http://home.cfl.rr.com/icdedppl/faq.html#c1

specifically i purchased:
lumanics pure blue for headlights (9005 and 9006)
http://www.luminicsbulbs.com/pure_bl...b3ac75f7ff353a

and for interrior domes front and back, cubby hole, and the headlight accent/parking lights i purchased from here
http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm

the only light i couldnt get was the rear hatch/cargo light... and i bought lights for the lisence plate frame and i couldnt get them out to replace

for the front dome/map lights i suggest this style
WLED-x6 LED wedge base bulbs
due to the way they are set up

and for the headlight accents i suggest this style
single led wedge base bulbs

just follow the info on the tc faq page and you should be fine... cost me like 20 for all the interrior accents and 60 for the headlights

and for the blue under dash and under seats kit i used randode http://randode.com/

now for those of you wondering about visibility....

stock is good... you all know how that looks! scion stock yellow bulbs are pretty damn bright for stock

ebay brand... very bright within 10 feet of your car... but thats about it!

lumanics pure blue... not as bright as the white ebay brand... but it projects alot further and is very visible...

overall im most satisfied with the look of the pure blue... the blue tint is just enough and looks beautiful

clicking on the separate links is tideous. Esp. since the pictures are just a big glow all blurred up... perhaps some visibility shots, against wall shots...what not...seeing glowing blurs is not very "response" worthy. If that's what you're looking for.

if i put all the pics in the thread it would load slow for everyone... and the blurs show just as much difference in the light as any other pic... i happen to like them more than against a wall...

I have the pure blue for my low beams and ultra violets for my high beams.

I think that you should stick with the Pure blue, sure they are not as bright, but they give everything a nice glow and stand out more.

Your interior LEDs and running lights look great, I think I may pick some up.

what I like on my Pure Blues is that they reflect road signs like crazy!!! lol I can see road signs that I didn't even know about before on roads that I was 100's of times.. haha
