Default [Pics] My tC got attacked by "UFO"!!!!

I was driving peacefully this afternoon...

Suddenly I heard "BANG!!" from back!!

At first I thought that wasn't from my car...actually I hoped.....

When I pulled over my car and I saw it....

I was like..."WTF!!!!!!"

There was BIG scratch on the back side of my tC!!

I dunno what was that object!! a stone? a can? a BULLET????

It was "Unidentified Flying Object"

Here're some pictures I took...

What do you guys think?

Do I have to re-paint whole trunk area? or Can it be solved by thouch up painting?

Please give me some ideas...

FU*@$!@#...........I hate driving in LA!!!

*I might have some grammar & spelling problems...cause I've been studying
English only for 1 year......SORRY

It looks like a scuff mark...did you try buffing it out? or using some scratch X by meguairs? I mean i could be wrong now that i look at it again looks like it went down to the metal? And yes i bet someone threw a rock at your car. But your lucky it didnt break something or dent something.

Man that sucks - if you're really really careful with the touch-up paint, you might be able to do some good (and save a lot of money at the same time). It all depends on how flawless you want it to end up looking...
but luckily super white matches really well, so it shouldn't be THAT noticeable.

SW is awesome - my paseo was keyed last week (luckily it was shallow) and it buffed out quite nicely! I'm not sure if darker colors would be that easy to fix up.

That's definitely not a scuff. From the third pic you can see the layers of it. Definitely something going deep. I don't think I'd attempt touchup paint with it - I'd probably take it somewhere and have them do a professional job.

a good wax and buff should definitly get that out, mine is basically a spec of dirt now, after lots of detail work though
