That depends on what you want it to do, and how much you want to spend.

Optima batteries are very good for stock size.
I use an $80 Magnapower AGM mini battery for about a 15 pound weight drop, and the stock hold down fits with the battery on its side. Perfectly OK with an AGM battery.
