You know its not about going over the 127mph, its about hitting it quicker than those srt's and evo's...

I got boosted, give that a shot, you dont NEED to do over 120mph when you SMOKE them up to 80ish-90 or so, then just stop there.. They know they didnt win, if you think about going over 100mph on public roads... it starts to be a little stupid. Go get a streetbike son son, my RC 51 will get you past the 174mph mark if you feel the need.

You really really wouldnt want to get a ticket well over the 100mph range either. in PA anything over 90 and you get arrested, and your car gets towed. the state highest limit is 65mph, so thats almost 30 mph over

it's not the ration that changes the speed, it's the overall hight of the tire (2002 Chevy silverado limited to 100MPH, add 20"s with the talles tires you can fit on stock suspension, speedo says 100 actual speed 110)
Oh yeah, original poster, you dumbass, I'm glad I don't have to share the road with you.

What are you doing that you need to go 130mph? The only reason that you would need to go this fast is to get yourself closer to the hospital quicker when you hit another car.

SRTs and STIs? 130? they'd be bus lenths away from you by that time. only reason you'd pass them is if they let off cause its over and you already lost.

plus even if you keep up with them all the way to 130 its not racing anymore, its just a game of chicken.

I rolled my car going 70, and you want to do double that! I f*cking hate you and everybody like you. Put a gun to your head. It'll save somebody else their lives.

I got caught in Illinois doing 108 in a 65... I wasn't even watching how fast I was going passing five 18-wheelers in a row (what can I say, I don't like being next to them). I thought I was going to jail the entire time, and the only reason I didn't was because the cop didn't want to go to the trouble of taking me in. No traffic law center would touch my 95 in a 65 ticket, and I got three points on my license.

Needless to say, I don't speed above 10mph anywhere anymore.

I got caught doing double the speed limit one time. It was back industrials and i was all alone, well except for the cop that i didnt see. I ended up with a 250.00 ticket and 5 points. I went to court to ask for the points to be dropped since i was still in college and my insurance would have been so high at my age that i wouldnt have been able to afford to drive anymore. I talk to the courts, said i was sorry and i was being stupid. The judge dropped all points, changed the ticket so i was only going 3mph over the speed limit which also reduced the fine to like 100 or something.

I try not to play like that anymore.

wow, seriously maybe you just need to get into an accident going that fast or get a ticket going over 100 and see what happens. I got a ticket for going 110 in a 65, 2 points, lost my license for 6 months. Yeah it was stupid, yeah we all like to speed, but cmon dude, going faster than 130 in the tC isn't very smart, 130 is scary enough in our cars unmodified..

Just get a S/C with 11 psi pulleys. The best spark plugs on the market, CAI, Headers, Full exhaust (dual if you have the money) Get your engine bored and get bigger pistons, Stage 2 engine head, Stage 3 clutch, short shifter, the best tires money can buy and there you go. Watch one of those cars try to peal out, theyll do a nice wastefully burnout before they pick up speed, with the torque on the tc if you have the best grip tires, you'll just pull strait out.

you can also try to get the drive train off of a corolla xrs I think it is. Also be prepared to spend about 20 grand.

Ive done 125 once. Even without the limiter you wouldnt go much faster. I bet they have different wheel sizes and the speedo is way off.

You know i flipped my Camero going 120+ on a 45mph corner.........boy I am glad my friend riding shot gun was only in the hospital for 2 weeks..............as I was stuck paying back every penny of that nearly $130000 bill for him.........so please try to kill off your self when you go above the speedlimit.......it is easier on you.

If you like to go fast build a Hotrod 1/4 mile car and go 200+ on a track safe car........guaranteed to crap your pants somewhere along the way.......now that is thrilling.........
