That's crap! Some poor soul who can't afford a Scion decides to steal the emblem. (Or get a new one for HIS stolen emblem.) This is my first new car and I worry about it getting vandalized. Of course they don't care a dam about your paint. If they find the people(s) involved, they should cut off their hands so they can't steal again. (Like in India!) Sorry to hear about your lose

monSSter-tC: I'm sorry, man, that's awful. Personally, If I were in your position, I'd have a shop shave / repaint.

Default same thing

The exact same thing happened to my XB. They obviously used a key and scratched the crap out of my back hatch. I had around 1k miles at the time. I bought a replacement emblem but never put it on.

If I ever see anyone with an emblem for a necklace you can better believe they will feel my pain...........

This was actually the first thing that popped in my head... now if I just had a suspect so I could read him the line JULES reads before he caps someone. ;)

You might consider putting an alarm with a proximity sensor on your car. As long as it is adjusted right they work pretty good. It doesn't stop theft but it is a good deterent.
