Default 1800 HP TC

6.41 @ 220mph.....with a Supra engine

http://www.webridestv.com/showvideo.aspx?video=11144

Pretty nuts, but probably not much left of the original car, still cool that Scion is doing this though.

There never was an "original" car, just a tube frame chassis, and custom fiberglass/composite body panels with tC head & tail lights molded in.

that drag scion is stupid.
its RWD, with a supra motor.
so pretty much....its a supra
they just plopped a scion body on it.
However Rado's tC is awesome.

i dont like to flame or anything but this is something that i dont like.

all of you guys who are complaining about this not even "being a tc" because it doesn't have the tc motor. i would say that's dumb because so many people do motor swaps.
its rwd though! so what? its for the better of the car. what about those Honda's swapping k, h, and b series motors into their cars? its not the civic motor so that means its not a civic right? its just a rsx or prelude with a civic body over it.
Honda's aren't the only cars that do motor swaps. there are cars like mustangs and camaro's doing swap in their cars. i dont see anybody else complaining about it and saying that its not that car. i think its dumb how some of you are giving this car poop just cause it doesn't have the original tc motor and all of that in it. be happy and appreciate it and the persons hard work .

btw, thats a beast of a tc

I didnt complain about the supra powered tC...it runs in a different class....What bothers me is that they utilize a Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl Motor for rados Drag car. I wanna see the same amount of power out of the 2az that they generated out of the taco motor.

Also The original complaint was about the car not actually being a tC.do to it being just a Tube frame woth Scion logos. all in all...at least it is still a Toyo motor.

As far as Hondas swapping K,B, and H series motors and saying they are not the original Civic motor.....they are...well maybe not the H. I had a 2000 Civic SI with a "STOCK" B-16 motor in it...and what does the new SI come with...oh yeah a K series

yeah i know the new si comes with the kseries but before that it didn't but people were still droppin k-series into their hondas and got no poop for it, thats what i was referring to.i know the si comes with a b series motor, i know my hondas, ive been around them longer than any other car. but my response was aimed more toward ibask with his
"not even a tc motor.

doesnt count
____." response and i know the chassis isnt the same and all that but ive seen other cars where that was the case and nobody really gave them any poop.

you guys are so addicted to slow scions that you dont even appreciate the engineering involved in that car. 1800 hp even out of a supra engine is ridiculous.
It looks like its run by Scion too, so it is a Scion TC if they want it to be lol.

I wouldn't call it a "tC" i would call it "The Scion Drag Car." since the only thing that resembles a tc are the headlights, taillights, and some body pieces (probably)

Dont get me wrong... i love the face the they were able to get 1800hp out of it... i just wouldn't call it a "tC" is all.

I would call it a tC. We don't even have a "Scion" engine we have a Toyota Camry Engine. What would make it any different if there is a Toyota Supra Engine in it, either way it all is linked together from the same family.

Sound Performance has a 1311HP Supra.
Ryan Woons WOTM Supra has over 1600HP.
Im not saying that getting those numbers out of any car sint an accomplishment.
But it really isnt that uncommon to see a Supra that has around or over 1000HP.

I just want to see a tC that has a 2AZ-FE thats fully built with a nice turbo setup or something running down the track.
I wanna see something that could actually be achieved by some of us some day. Building our motors and adding turbos is feasable. But i dont think to many people on here have the funds to do a motor swap, RWD conversion....etc.
