I got 20% on the hatch and 35% everywhere else. Being that the hatch is darker, it makes my 35% look darker also. We're not even supposed to tint our driver & passenger windows here in CA. I even got a doctor's note so that when I get pulled over for my tinted windows, I can say its for medical reasons. Whatever you do, DON'T tint your rear small windows and Driver's/Passengers widows different tints. My friends that have done this complained about it not looking consistent. Messes up the clean lines of your ride. Good luck!

 

If you really want to do 20 I would do 20 in the rear and go 35 on the sides..IMO 20 is to dark I have 35 all the way around and I am satisfied with that..but hey that is just my $0.02..

 

I got 15% all around and I am very satisfied with it, anything lighter will just be too light. Cops in Miami though dont even care if you have limo tints (5%). I would not recommend anything other than 15% if you want to keep the sun out plus have a very sharp look to the car. Ill post a picture later so you guys can see.

 

ah the dilemma.. does anyone in VA have 20% all the way around? i'd like to go with that but fear cops pulling me over for tint. i guess it really just depends on the officer but i'd still like to hear input from people whether or not they've been given a hard time about it.

I had limo over my factory (35%) on my old car and it was niiiice....took some getting used to at night, but in my opinion a lil overboard...on my tc I just had 5% all the way around and I have no visibility issues at night. It keeps it very cool here in florida heat. Plus the cops could care less. I've heard the limit is 20% down here, supposedly, but EVERYONE in this town has tint you can't see through. I'd go 5% if the shop will do it. It's well worth it....I'll take pics if you really want me to...just reply back....

this last picture shows the tint from inside the car point of view on an overcast day....
The outside looks like a mirror and in one pic you can somewhat see the center air vents....it's not bad at all by any means....hope this helps...
