Default 2004 thru 2007 cold air intake

I was wondering if there is a difference in the set up of the scion tc cold air intake for the 2004 to 2007. i have been looking at some and they are sold for only 04-06. Any help you can give me I waould greatly appreate it

idk honestly i just thought i remembered reading it. its only the MAF, so if its not the TB why cant you use the 05-06 S/C on the 07-09 and just buy the newer MAF sensor and switch them out.

you could switch MAF sensors, but a new one will cost you about $140, and even then you run the chance of the ECU not reading it properly.

The mounting points for the new MAF are different than the old from what I remember. So the new one wont fit in the old intake. If you run the old one so it fits, I believe the readings will be off. At least that is what I have gathered. And like mentioned, why spend as much as the intake on the MAF, when you could just buy the right intake to begin with?

And there is no such thing as an 04 tc :D
