well, the supercharger for the 05-06 is only $1900 or so, so you can have alot more fun for less.

don't really know for sure about this one, mine is just shy of 60 k, no problems so far, there are several people that have reported that they are over 100 k with no problems.

oh, and true about the steering wheel controls, and also note, 05 stock radio doesn't have a rotary volume ****...which annoys me to no end having to press a button 2 dozen times when i want to substantially change the volume.

it does rattle, but i only notice it when i'm driving with no music on. mainly it is over bumps, and probably largely due to all the high performance suspension on my car.

Bought mine brand new in November `04. Just about to 50k, and no mechanical problems to date, and it has only been in the "shop" for oil changes. Will be doing f/r brake pads soon, followed by new tires to replace the stock potenzas. Mine rattles, but not all the time, and I haven't done any of the DIY remedies you'll see in this forum. I'll be driving it for a long time to come.

You'll probably find some pre-enjoyed `05's with relative low mileage around. As for the minor changes (steering wheel controls, iPod adapter, radio layout, etc.) between 2005 & 2006, it's a matter of personal preference, but I would look for the least expensive overall vehicle, those little things are minor in the grand scheme of things. Regardless, the current body style is good until at least the 2010 model year, so it is still fresh. If you have TYC or other aftermarket taillights, an aftermarket grille, and some different headlights, other than the interior, no one will really be able to tell the difference between a 2005 or a 2008 .
