Is there a DIY/guide on how to replace my key fob? My current one's buttons are all broken off. Do I really have to go to a dealer to get a new key? Is there a way I can just transfer what's inside into another shell with working buttons?

I bought a replacement on ebay for the RAV4 straight from china. Get it copied, you crac open the old one and -carefully- undig the transponder chip in the corner out with an exacto knife -carefully- so you don't break it, drop it into the slot in the new key. While you're at it you can replace the Lithium battery but you don't have to, I didn't, key is 8 years old lol. If you do, buy a good lithium battery from somewhere online like digikey so that you never have to replace it again
