You are correct. Toyota is stopping production of the Celica after this year along with the MR2-S. The Toyota Pro Celebrity Race will in fact be run with SCION TCs in place of the Celica after so many years.

So definitely keep the dates open in April 2006 for the Toyota Pro Celebrity Race in Long Beach, CA to see the TCs being raced.

Does anyone know if the celb race will be telivised and whose broadcasting it. I would love to go (just got an email the other day about it) but that would one hellofa trip for me.

 

you're about 19 months late there buddy haha. They have one every year I beleive.

You're not late... The race is April 8th... not sure if it will be televised... could be.. probablu depends on how good your cable package is... haha And they won't be supercharged. Last I heard, they will have AEM CAI, DC Sports full exhaust... and thats about it as far as power... they'll probably tune them a bit since they plan on running 100 octane... What I heard anyways... Would be entertaining to watch...

I think it will be interesting to how well they do, plus curse at them for crashing a tc.
