On my 2007 Scion tC, I got rid of TPMS fault light by cutting off IND (LG) wire and patching it to IG (RED) in the TPMS receiver connector. See the attached diagram.
You could have also disconnected the TPMS computer and ran a small jumper wire on the connector, so it's easily reversible. I did this and it works great.
