Default 2400.00, Hmmm what to do!

Ok, did my taxes today and getting 2400.00 back this year *thank goodness for school tuition reimbursement, it really does help!) Need some ideas on how to spend it. 07 sw tc, no mods at all done to it, still have to install my short shifter, but thats all I got. On a side note, my future desire is to go TURBO!

Only thing I don't want is an intake or 18+ inch rims.Any 17 inch rims are fine however

Thanks for any help!

***No flame wars on who's parts are better or not, we all love modding tc's and other cars, so keep it sane and civil. Understand that MOST people who put certain parts on their cars think they are the best, and for THEM, they are, so don't dog other people's parts***

Thanks again!

yup. Invest about 1400 of it, then spend the rest on some suspension upgrades!

hmm... are you tinted? Should also do that, especially since you live in LV and all!

If you want to improve handling, I'd go for TRD springs, TRD rear sway, lightweight wheels and sticky tires. All that's well within your budget, maybe even enough left over to add a subwoofer & amp, depending on how much you spend on wheels & tires.

Lowering springs, rear sway bar, front strut bar, and rear shock brace...these mods will make your tC more fun to drive!

I like these ideas. I was leaning toward tint, and some suspension upgrades like springs, sways, tower bar, wheels/tires to get great handling down. I will have to look for some great deals!

I'll agree with that, minus the front strut bar and suggesting Ingalls' four point rear bar. Maybe TRD struts too...

Ok, with all of these upgrades including the ingalls, any additional SUSPENSION mods that will cement the car when a turbo is placed in it, approx 300-400WHP when its all said and done?

Las Vegas + $2400 + Hookers/Strippers = A VERY GOOD TIME!!

j/k. I also agree with newedgeperf. Tint and lowering will give your tC a totally different look.

I'm not sure you'll be getting 300-400 whp from a turbo unless you do a incredibly serious setup that's probably going to take you a long time to save up for

I think most boosted folks are getting more in the 230-250 whp range. Of course, remember all the other things you'll have to do with a turbo kit install

tint and springs will probally cover the $400. Maybe another $500 for the tC and the rest to the savings. Its always good to have money saved away, remember that!

But he who dies...enjoys neither the car nor the money. Hmm...

I say tint, complete TRD suspension, and save the rest for when you want some badass tires.

That depends on what the Scion gods decide

why do you have such little faith in the gods of Scion

Add in some upgraded shocks and struts. You do not want to be wallowing around on the soft stock suspension when you are driving faster. What was the old ad that said something like

Power is nothing without control!

I believe it was a tire company ad.

2400 is alot of car payments, about 7 for me.

That is what I would do. Pay car off, then spend money on it.
