Default 250-75 possible w/ TRD supercharger?

Assuming the sc is a 40 hp increase, do you think it would be possible to acheive 250-275? If so, what parts would you recomend?

Considering you could push the tC's 2.4 L pretty damn close to 210 hp with the right mods... this is feasable, although you likely won't be keeping your Toyota warranty with them. I guess the reliability of the SC may be greater than some third party turbochargers with less credability than TRD...

Do you think if new headers, cams, and that stuff was put in it would help?

I wouldn't bother asking in a Scion forum, personally I'd be
asking the tuner shop you'd be taking the car to for advice.

I appreciate your advice Raven. I was asking around because I know jack about cars. In addition, I do not even have my tC yet. I have learned to take all forums with a grain of salt.

Before you freak out the following statement is by no means at all an offense to you, this is just a general comment.

If you dont, as you say, know jack about cars, you shouldnt be trying to build a car to get a 100hp to wheel increase. you will run into a ton of problems and not know how to fix them. And i dont reccomend you rely on a bank account for when something goes wrong.

Now to answer your question, its possible, high boost pulley, some tuning and a good exhaust and header and i think you would be close.

Didnt the lightweight pulley upgrade the sc to like 75+ hp?

Thoese are definitely issues to take into account OutCrnrU. I am not mechanically inclined, but my father is. These are all things I will have to take into account. I appreciate you voicing your concern. A point well taken.

I know it is pretty high, but wouldn't it be great to have a tC with that kind of power?

its very possible to get 250WHP out of it, of course you won't have any warranty though.

If youre going to add more boost by adding a smaller pulley, youll be able to run an intercooler, which will allow for higher numbers.
So a smaller pulley, intercooler, aftermarket header, CAI and Catback should bring you close to the 250whp mark. if it doesn't you could always get a vvt-i controller which supposedly adds around 17hp on the NA block.
