sl0wp0ke,
There is a lot riding on your shoulders now. Do not dissapoint us, post the pix as soon as you put the fogs in.
You will have a lifelong gratitude of most of the tC owners in the world....

Stefan
Trust me I know. Like I said the install is not going to be right away. My mom recently backed into my carand cracked the front bumper. I have to get it replaced anyway so I figured why not practice on the bumper. That way I know what I'm doing when I do it for real. If you guys want ill take some pics of the Fogs being placed in the slots when I get home today at 1:30. I should have the pics up by 2:00Pm today.

Thank-you for your patience everyone.

Hey sl0wp0ke, thank you.
By the way, when you install them are you going to try them at night so you can see the beam pattern? I wonder about the optics (are there any optics on the fog light???)
and if the fact that they will be upside down with respect to their original application will affect the beam?

Well, guess we have to wait to see. On behalf of all tC owners out there: you have our trust sl0wp0ke!

Default Heres Some pics!

Pics YEA!

Here is the lights themselves! As you can see the crack in the bumper from my mom running into it!

Here is the upside down fitment look. It probably won't require any bumper cutting.

Another picture showing you the upside down fitment and how it easily slides in.

This is right side up aka normal IS 300 style. As you can see they dont squeeze in. The bumper will probably need to be cut for this fitment.

Finally a side shot showing you how the bumper is going to have to be cut to fit it in this way.

Hopefully I will have the IS 300 Project Fog Lights completed in 2 weeks!

Nice! Thanks for the pics, finally I'm able to see them upclose and compared with our bumper. This is what modding is about, DIY. :D

I agree... when u get around to it... please show us how u removed the stock faux vents and how the assemblies looked inserted into the openings with no modification. And ofcourse how u went about mounting them. THanks...

Oh yea... i forgot something...

Since you have a pair of the assemblies in ur possesion... could u tell me who makes them? It might be engraved in some of the plastic or somewhere even on the front clear plastic in a very subtle way.

This weekend Ill show you how im going to mount them and how the look sitting i upside down with no bumper cutting. Then ill take some pics of the lights on with the upside down install to make sure it doesn't look odd.

I can let you all know I just cut out the plastic black covering and I sat the fogs in upside down and they went in perfectly. A lil shove was needed, but hey its a perfect fit.

Now for the people who will want to see the install right side up its going to be a couple more weeks cause were going to need to mount them different and cut the bumper.

Most likely Im going to go witht he right side up install myself cause I don't mind cutting my bumper. If you don't want to have to cut the bumper than the upside down fitment works for you.

Upside down fitment DIY will be finished by this sunday. Ill keep you guys posted.
