What do you think about the 3rd models name? TC

What's it mean? Any body know?

I heard it was originally going to be called the X-TC but that was then shortened to TC.

 

does the T mean "turbo"? kids like turbo.

 

turbo coupe....ummmmmm....sounds nice....hehehehe

 

TC = traffic collision

 

here's hoping toyota has much better luck than chrysler did with their tc. our neighbor had one, used to brag about it all the time (maserati blah blah) then his tc crapped out and he couldn't sell it.

 

Where did you find the "TC" moniker information? That is the first I heard of it...

I like xC and x3. The xC would be good for a coupe, although it would kinda lock them into the model name thing for future cars... xD, xE, etc...

I think x3 is the best name because it seems to be a hatchback-styled coupe and it would leave Scion able to more freely name future cars without offending the Scion enthusiasts.

Yes, xC is good, but Volvo stole it first as in XC90 and XC70. I believe that is why the model name has been changed. I think G3 says its a late-model Mac. Possibly a good change would be cC1500?

 

I heard that is was going to be called "TC" from the guys at Fox Scion who attended the Toyota Meeting in Philly last month. Is that the official name?

 

x3 is also already taken. bmw will be introducing its baby x5 in a couple of months, called x3
