you know what, the thing that bothers me the most (besides the fact that its not even a scion) is the fact that there are MANY tuned/modded tcs out there (maybe not many tastefully done, but a few) that are customer/street or even shop cars that are Mag worthy, who cares about a fully sponsored toyota drag car w/ tube frame chassis and a motor that isn't even the tc's.

Damn corporate money grubbers. They obviously paid a crapload of money to get that car into the mag. That article is the least interesting one in the whole issue.

at the time of the SS article, he was still running the 2az block. pushing 550 whp i believe.

 

Rados car is running a 3RZ Toyota Tacoma engine...its the same motor setup he used in the celica drag car...all the motor work and parts are produced by LC Engineering.
