Default ___CK ME!!! what to do

I see my Bumper this morning and theres a HUGE dent on the driver's side, luckily it is only the bumper that is dented and no damage to the headlights or my driver side door.

If I go to my insurance they will probably charge my 500 Deductable, but I was wondering if whether just purchasing a stock bumper would be cheaper than that. I don't wanna go the route of "Quick Hialeah Fix" because In the end you will only pay more.

Hit and Run claim will probably run up my payment for insurance, but at this point IDK whether to do a quick fix, purchase a new bumper, or go through my insurance....

Help or comments are appreciated. (BTW I didn't see who did it because it happened at work, and didn't notice till this afternoon.)

dude just get that front bumper you always wanted, of find one at a yard or something and have it repainted or look here.. hell you might be able to push it out.. going through insurance is just going to hurt alot more later..

yea im with the other guys! At the end, you might pay 500 or less in the area and it won't raise your insurance! And Some people in Hialeah are not that bad, just don't do Maaco! lol

I just went through something similar.. bought an OEM bumper from the local scion dealership and had them paint it.. cost $488, and I did all the removal/installation. If you get it painted somewhere else you run the risk of not matching colors... but you'll get it done for much cheaper.

I would leave the insurance company out of it. They never play nice.

What the hell. If its just a dent then get it fixed. Why waste 150 on a new bumper and 300 to repaint it.

Any questions PM me and ill tell you what you need.

that type of fix only works on metal panels.
It wont do anything for a plastic bumper.
What your doing is forcing the metals memory to pop the panel back into place.
If I were you, I'd take this as your chance to go with an after market bumper. Find something you like.

I actually have the same problem with mine...I washed my car on Saturday and then drove it home (apartments) and parked it. Spent like an hour getting showered and ready then went back out and there was a small crease dent...like 3 inches long with a crease if that makes sense. It is barely noticeable but it still ____es me off. The car is brand new. What are your suggestions? I don't want an after market bumper nor do i want to spend $500 on a new one

i found some nice damage to my rear bumper and i looked into the cost of the bumper with paint, and needless to say, go for tha kit u always wanted.... not worth doin stock and it will cost more than your deducitble to go the insurance route, but it aint worth it.

hmm, went to the dealer and they said it would be 760 total to fix the damage, My headlight has to be remounted because it is shining towards the ground and part of the fender is dented. here are pics to illustrate a little better.

Damn, someone effed you up. Don't think you can pop that out, especially since thats not metal. I would just search local junk yards. tC has been up there in accidents and there is a good chance they may have a bumper. If not go ebay. If that doesn't work then dealer, but never your insurance.
