ABS Light goes on when Tail/Park light is on.
First of all, is this the right forum for my scion tc 2010 with 2AZ engine?
This is my problem:
Everything is fine until I will turn the park/tail lights on, then the abs light comes on.
Turning off the engine fixes it until such time when I need turn on my lights again.
I have just installed a non CK-Type LED lights(front and rear)but I rearrange the wires in LED to match the scion tc wiring and it is working just fine. With this setup, I also installed a flasher for led to correct the hyperflashing.
I was thinking that it has something to do with less amps-pulling due to LEDs, so I temporarily paralleled one of the original 21 watts brake light to work as a resistor but the problem persisted.
This problem persisted even with the original flasher.
I also tried removing the negative battery terminal to reset the on-board computer.
I am now thinking of reversing everything, that is reinstall the original lights and flasher but of course I am try to avoid this hussle if possible.
Badly needs your help guys....
Thanks.
EDIT 1: I just noticed something while driving tonight. 3rd brake lights of all vehicles I have seen are ON only when braking and totally OFF when not braking. In my car, it is dimly lit when tail lights are on and full brightness when braking.
Is this normal for this car or is there some electrical leak in my dual filament LEDs?
