so i got in an accident yesterday and i wanted to know what you guys think the damage would be.. i need a new passenger side front fender new bumper and right headlight. any kind of estimation will be greatly appreciated

 

The damage will be MY insurance keeps going up because about 20% of the people in this forum have wrecked!

well this black car cut a turn real sharp so avoiding that car i hit my friends truck.

 

post some pics kinda hard to say w/o any pics.

 

bumper is $230, fender is $212, and fender liner is 87, and a new headlight is $140. and ofcourse, the bumper and fender will be unpainted, so add a couple hundred to have them painted to match.

 

and thats not to count if there is any frame damage or if the frame got bent or anything like that..

post some pics and it would be easier to say...

 

c/o Sparks : right passenger fender $165.68 ; front bumper cover $182.25 ; right headlight (assembly only) $141.41 ...plus shipping, paint and install. And as Jiggaman has said, expect possible damage on frame/chassis...hopefully your damage is only cosmetic...

 

yeah, but the problem is they won't ship you something the size of a bumper or fender because they would have to pay freight shipping rates, which would mean it is cheaper to just get those from your dealership. but the headlight they will ship you, and maybe the fender liner, but not 100% sure.

 

I had to have my passenger front fender, headlight, and front bumper replaced just last month. Total cost with paint came to 1904 dollars. And I didn't have any frame damage.

god watching that hurts so much.... im sorry to hear dude. i just got my front bumper/hood replaced and it came out to like 2400... insurance covered me though deductable was only 500$. i wish you good luck and i hope u get that fixed

 

Ok, since I am disgruntled and don't want to do any real work, I wrote you a quick estimate.
I am sure there will be some upper rail damage, but I can't see what, so I can't write it.

As I see it, I have:
replaced the bumper thru Keystone - remanufactured oem
replaced the fender oem
replaced the head light oem
blend into the left door
remove and install the rocker cover

total: $1380

Now, considering the upper rails likely have damage, expect about another $300-$750 depending on the extent of the damage.

I'd say it'll be at least $2000 before it hits the road again.
