ouch! Hopefully it's not that deep. I just bought something called ScratchX by Meguiar's and it works great. If the scratch is deep, it will help it, but won't take it away completely. If it's minor, it should take it out. Sorry to hear about the scratch.

if it's a minor scratch, it can usually be fixed with some car wax... if that's not available to you, i would try using lotion or something... if the scratch is inscribed into the paint, there's nothing you can really do but hope the wax or lotion will hide the scratch; unless you hav the money or time to repaint your door.

I try to park away from other cars, but I don't take up two spots or anything. I really want my car to stay door ding-free for as long as possible. My girlfriend complains a little, but she gets to ride around in my tC, so she's pretty happy.

Yea, I try to park away from other cars too...I guess that just means less cars to get in the way of a renegade cart and your car. My car got hit by a shopping cart or something... It's not that bad of a dent...but it's a dent. I'll get a dent specialist to take it out some day...

You can get Meguiar's at almost any automotive store or department at stores. I know Wal-Mart, Target, Autozone, Pep-Boys and many other stores like them have them in the detailing section.

Later,
Justin
