for $23 k i wud expect it to have a S/c trd coilovers, a new paint color, and maybe rims....now if u have more throw in a LSD...

 

i think u could do the s/c, ground fx, rims, exhaust, and a couple interior accesories. don't know if it's whitin the budget, but it would be nice to have off the dealership.

 

ok well the tc is 19800.00 with the lip kit throw in the s/c and thats another damn 4000.00 installed .. so im already at 23800.00 without even adding my spoiler or springs or coilovers or anything else.. ?? what u think?

 

maybe instead of the ground fx, u could do the rims, or if u dont want the s/c u could do an intake and the strut bar, but think the s/c would definetly be a good idea.

 

body/lip kit is for ricers.

focus on the suspension, that's one of the tC's weakpoints (stock).

 

it depends on where the dealership is located too. if it is in the city( where most people do somthing to their rides) someone will buy it eventually, but if it is in a small town or such(where most people leave their rides stock), then it will be hard to sell.

 

you can always just sell it straight with a supercharger already installed and everything else stock.

Im sure there will be people out there that want the super charger for instant gratification, as opposed to buying a car and then taking it back to install the supercharger.

 

I say the 18" Enkei wheels and the TRD coilovers and the GFX kit if there's any funding left. They are adjustable, remember that. The minimum drop is VERY mild. It will look great, and combined with the 18"s, will only be millimeters lower than a stock tC with the original 17"s.

 

Well i have an 08 Tc SW with the TRD 18" Rims and tinted it out and the Pedistal Spolier and TRD Spings all done by the Dealer i requested this and its looks great i think it cost me 22,600 all together also i have an auto ill show you pics when i get a chance to clean my car looks good tho, this might be somthing you want to do, and when my income tax check comes im getting the S/C...maybe you can give me a discount

 

skywitit23 sounds like it looks great .. do u have the ground effects kit also or just pediastal spoiler and the 18" with the springs>? let me know .. would love some pics.. sounds like at least someone is willing to buy something from the dealer lol .. ill b glad to help you out on the s/c .....

 

nah no ground effects, just Rims, Springs, and Spolier and i tinited it 15% in back and front and passenfer and driver is 30% ill send you pics and tell me what you think

But to be mean... I would'nt be a noob and go to a forum looking for advice. First, all of us are enthusiasts...which mean we're more than likely not your target market. Your target market is the rich kids who are too lazy to get their grubbs dirty and what daddy to buy the tC all pertty'd up.


Get out to your local scion meets and look at the most popular accessories and the ones that attract the most girls. Those are the types of accessories that you would want on the car.

Your going to have to do some real leg work to make sure your car attracts your market, and the best way to do that is to get right in the middle of it.

 

yeh i know .. thanks for all the help .. i actually got done building it today.. getting all the goodies put on .. went with a 08 super white with 18" trd wheels and slapped on the trd coilovers along with the sway bar and the strut tower brace then threw in an ARC intake from mackin industries.. and then the trd exhuast and the lip spoiler and the lighted door sills . looks great turned out awesome and damn thing corners so damn good.

 

Sounds good and clean, no hunge wings and lambo doors.
