Another TC Bites the Dust, IT's Been Fun
So, i won't know till monday, but do you think totaled.
Driver airbags did deploy. Engine amazingly still runs and was able to drive itself out of traffic.
Story to soon come. I am ok, just a torn up shoulder and few stitches.
Airbags suck by the way.

Doesn't look totalled. Just buff it out, you're good. HA!
Looks like a new bumper, fender, CV joint possibly, engine surround, hood and headlight. I think the big thing is the engine surround. Is that replaceable with these uni-body cars?

seeing as its an 07, airbag deployed, and theres frame damage. id say totalled.
to give you an idea...this was my 08. it had a little over 10K miles on it and they totalled it. (i had 3 airbags go off though)

My insurance company stated single airbag replacement bill is $2,600 (Thats from 2004: might be more now?)
Then on the other hand, I was in not-at-fault collision this year with mine. Mileage was 120k, NADA value was $5k, loan payoff is way more than that. Insurance company still fixed it; all $6,200-ish.
So you never know if they will total it?? Unless you happen to have GAP then they might if the car is worth more than the estimate?

i think there might be a lot of sub-frame damage and i think its all one giant part so you would have to chop and weld or put it on a frame stretcher. and then it will come up as frame damage on vehicle reports
+ an accident like that will kill resale value / trade in value down the line.

Glad you're okay, and I'd say with how expensive car repairs now-adays, it may be totalled.
word of advice though, if you still have access to the car, scrap out as much as you can. like anything you can grab, because there will be people like us that need things.

Looks totaled to me, esp. if airbags deployed..
2 weeks ago I was driving when suddenly this taco lady slammed into my car, rear-ending me at ~50 mph, and somehow continued driving alongside the driver's side of my car after initial contact. So not only was there damage to the rear bumper, hatch, and side quarter panels where it buckled in, but she even took out the side view mirror.
When the adjuster came out to look at the car, he stopped the damage estimate once it reached $10k and said that it'd be totaled since it was already over 70% value of the car.
Here's what she looks like now-

(Long gashes and busted mirror)

(Quarter panels completely buckled in)

(The mats are lying down as flat as possible..)
I have physical therapy for about 6 weeks for my neck and back injuries.
