Default Anti fouler trick for the CEL Questions

Out of the people that have done this and already have at least 60 miles or more what did you actually do? I read on the forum search and tried doing that way and it doesn't work. I have tried this mod three diffrent ways but my CEL still comes on. What mods do you have? Please anyone with header and s-pipe help!

you need 2 antifoulers. the firest one gets into the spipe, the sencond one needs to be bored out with a 1/2" drill bit, then attach that antifouelr to the other one, and the 02 sensors goes into the bored out fouler.

hope i helped

hey i have alphawerks header, scion tc performance stage II intake, and what I did is did the whole two anti foulers bored it out to a 1/2 inch then had a buddy take his scanner ( he works at a shop) and wipe the cel message, pretty much restarting it. So my suggestion is that you take your car to a nearby shop and see if they can't scan your ecu for you and get your cel off, and if the anti foulers aren't doing there job your cel will just simply come back on in the next couple of day. Good Luck hope i helped.

I have a adapter for my laptop to scan my car. I have been reseting the cel myself. I am driving around now waiting untill it pops on again. Anyone that has this mod and has a scanner their self that will read live data read the h02s sensor voltage with it running and tell me what yours displays. Thanks for the help.

eveyone says the injen ses exhaust is an axleback but injen told me its catback. I am not sure. I belive it connects to the oem resonator on the car.

yes, disconnecting the battery resets the ECU, and you should do this everytime you isntall a new part that has anything electrionc to do with it (such as a sensor).

the injen is an axel back exhaust. the resonator is just before the rear axel.

Ok I did the anti fouler trick and it doesn't work I keep getting p0136 cel code. The people that this has worked on did you have a header and a s-pipe. This is the only conclusion of why the cel keeps coming on. If anyone has other experiance on the solution please let me know. I have the alphawerks header and zpi s-pipe.
