Default anyone been to a tC Unleashed event? Whats it like?

I plan on going to the SF one on Thur, but I won't make it there till about 4:30pm (its from 12-8pm).

Will it be packed? Will I have to wait around for the rest of the day to get a test drive?

I just want to know if I should forget it and go to the one on Saturaday when I can show up before it starts?

How long is the route typically? Will the "expert" guy cackle on in your ear for the entire thing telling you things you already know when you're just trying to enjoy the ride? I want to know before hand so I can school my girlfriend to run some interference.

Anyone been to previous events?

Thanks

Hey, I didn't know they were going to have one in SF. Where is it at? Do current tC owners get anything free? If you want to take a look at my car I'll be happy to show it to u some time with no sales pressure

No problem, I'm in the Richmond/Sunset a lot. I'd go to that unleashed event (not the castro one ) but only if it was more then just people test driving the tC. Maybe other Bay Area tC owners can show up.... How about making a mini meet out of it?

i went to the one here in orlando a while back. it was a really short test drive. 2minutes max. and you have to be 21 or older to drive. after i finished the test drive, i got a $15 gift certificate to some cd place(havent used it) and i also got to choose from a scion tee, a visor, or a scion cap for free(i got the cap ) have fun at the test drive :D

Just in case anyone's interesteed. I went to the event on Fri in SF. The drive was really short like less than 10 minutes, and having it in the middle of the Castro didn't help either. I didn't get to open it up as I would have like but I got to see the all of the darker colors in person.

The guy who took the ride with me mostly just sat in passenger seat and didn't talk my ear off once he realized I probably knew more about the car than he did. The one I drove had the TRD exhaust on it. It had a nice gentle growl. I would defnitely go for it if not for the low HP increase. I got a T-shirt and a certificate to a nearby restuarant/bar. When I went afterwards and my GF got totally hammered after a Margarita and a Purple Hooter (what a lightweight). All in all not a bad way to spend 15 minutes.
