Those are the ones specifically made for Scion to give out as gifts for the wind deflector recall. Mine was performed today, so I am waiting for mine to come

I heard jada was supposed to come out with a tC die cast this year, but it will not match the one created for the recall.

 

if u got the recall and had it done, u might be getting one in the mail?

 

I know others have recieved thiers about a month after as a consolation for the recall. I think they send it after they contact you about completing the survey on the service.

 

lol... tc owners that received the DieCast Jada Toys Scion Tc are making a butt load of money on ebay... last week there was only 1 scion tc toy up for bid and it sold for $76.00 ... now this week there are at least 10 to 15 up for autction... AND they are starting auctions and bids as high as $80.00, i think thats absolutely ridiculous.. but hey the person thats paying that much is the one that has to fork over the money LOL.

i rather wait to see if i get one for my recall or if i dont get one i will wait till they are sold in stores .. whenever that may be.

 

Jada will have a tC in stores in March. It won't be the same one that people are getting for the wind deflector recall, but similar. You can either buy an overpriced one on e-bay now, get your wind deflector done and get one soon, or wait till they come out in March.

Not sure what will be different. I am pretty sure the color will be different and most likely, different "graphics" and probably rims. I e-mailed Jada asking them when to expect the tC in stores. All they said was to expect it in March and it will be different than the "recall" tC's, though they didn't specify how so.

Personally, I can't wait for them to come out. I am planning on buying 2. One to put on my model car shelf and one to make to look like my car. I want to remove the stickers and paint the car similar to my absolutely red. Then try to find some model rims that look like mine. That way, I can have it out when I go to shows for a little dash of flair for my ride.

 

but isnt the recall Jada Toys Tc.. a RS-01? i thought that was absolute red.. or did u repaint yours?

 

The recall tC is not going to come out of the box. That is gonna be a collector's item someday Once the tC's come out in stores, I will buy one of those and make it into a RS 1.0

 

I hope they're not out... I just phoned in an appointment...

we got our deflector done yesterday, so i'll be looking out for the survey to come by...

man, i get surveys all the time, but only fill a few out... maybe i should send all the other ones now...

Heh Heh Heh! Here's what the JadaToys tC looks like.

I opened mine. I'm going to keep it, so it did me no good to look at it in the box. The hood, doors, and hatch all open up. Its a cool little tC! Best part of it...I didn't have to pay for it!! Thanks Scion!

 

II would love to have this, but I dont want to pay $40+ for it on EBAY Maybe I should go get a tC just to get it, LOL!

 

I just got mine today and I didn't fill out any survey or anything. If it helps, I got the recall done on my car on December 19th and I just got it this afternoon, January 23rd. So It took me about a month to get it.

It's really tempting not to open it, but this baby's staying in the box for sure. I can wait to buy the other Jada Toys one.
