Apples and Oranges?!
Ok, If you had the choice to do the following which would you do?
1. Buy a 2005 Scion tC with the optional Supercharger
2. Lease a 2005 BMW 325i Sedan with the Sport Package
3. Keep My Nissan Sentra and put on 17 inch tires/wheels and lower it one inch.
By the way, I am 34 years old married and have a 7-year old son.
I do already own a "family" vehicle. (The CRV)
Which one should I do?? :?

tC...
1. The looks of a BMW w/o the BMW price.
2. BMW's have high repair cost (even compared to Lexus vehicles).
3. The tC comes standard with 17" alloys.
4. Save the money for the Bimmer for your sons college fund (or keep it in a savings account with high interest yield). (seriously, the way tuition keeps rising nowadays.

Roughly what will the tC do 0-60 with the supercharger? Mid 6's?

0-60 in 7.4sec (STOCK, non S/Cednot sure if auto or manual, probably manual). I am not sure if the S/C will be tuned for regular or premium.
TRD better keeps the promise of the S/C this time. I know the current gen Celica owners have been waiting for a TRD S/C for a long time. TRD was probably testing the S/C with the 2AZFE engine in Japan.

Is this really necessary to think about? If it's a lease, get the BMW. I love my tC, but the BMW bests it almost every way. It's a different class of car. And they're available in 4 door for the little nino.

I vote for the tC
Its a toyota. It's bullet proof.
Bimmers have problems.
German cars now have more problems per car then some american brands.
Mazda's are fords made mostly in japan.
They also have problems.

Swechi-
I was thinking along the same lines, except was looking at the 330i with the sport package lease. ( I was actually car shopping about 6 months ago and decided not to buy at that time.. then four months later someone makes the decision for me by running a red light and totalling my car)
The tC is a lot of car for a little money and it leaves you with the ability to tune it.
The BMW, while a nice made car (that does include all maintenance and repairs plus a loner car program) that has many features, I think you'll get more thrill out of a tC. BMW tuner parts are also VERY expensive and are a big no-no on a lease.
I've only had my tC fro 4 days now and it feels every bit as solid as the BMW I drove. It's very smooth with lexus written all over it.
Plus- If you got a kid.. you could drive the tC for 5-6 years and make it his car.. get him involved young in the motorsport world.
