Default auto-dimming mirror installation

it was my understanding that the auto-dimming mirror was an add-on you took care of when your car came in to the dealer. i've been reading the forum and some people say they ordered it from the factory with the auto-dimming mirror. which is it?

It's both. You can get it included and you can order it as a part after you get your tC

Hardest part was getting the overhead console out... plus use the short harness.

Default No Problem

Your Welcome...

Help out when I can... I think people should document what they did. Especially wiring and where to tap into...

People do projects but they aren't helpful with illustrations... I had a hard time searching for pictures on:

tapping into speed sensor wire, reverse wire, for my AVN2454.

I did find one with Reverse... it clearly shows a red arrrow on which wire it was. But nothing came up on Speed sense.
