Default Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror

Does anyone have instructions as to how you program the auto-dimming mirror? I had this installed as an option at the dealership, yet I did not yet an instruction guide as to how you program the garage door opener buttons. Who knows what else this mirror does. Manual says nothing about this mirror, at least from what I can see. May have to request the mirror manual from the dealer.

If it's the Gentek Homelink mirror, you can go to the homelink homepage http://www.homelink.com/home/home.tml for downloadable instructions.

ScionLawyer, I see that you got the EMX 18 inch wheels for your tC. Did you get them from your dealer or did you buy them yourself? If you got them from the dealer did you also get the original 17" wheels or did those simply replace them?

TeABaG_ ... I purchased them as part of the original car delivery. It was a direct replacement of OE tires and rims. I did not get the EO rims or tires back. Should I have gotten them? I thought about that when I picked up my car, but was so happy to see it I just drove off...LOL

Actually, I wasn't sure so I just wanted to know what happened. I assumed that you don't get the originals but just wanted to hear it from someone who acutal got those 18 inch wheels. Thanks for the reply.

You are supposed to get the original 17s. The 18" wheel price is not an "upgrade price". If nothing else, the dealer should give you a trade-in credit for your 17s.

Get the 17's back and use them as snow tires. If the dealer will let you, give the dealer the potenza's and have him put snow tires on it. My dealer is doing that for me.

Thanks. Looks like I have to write and/or call the dealer and get this straightened out. That totally sucks if I should have gotten them and didn't. Any dealer input here would be appreciated.

scionlawyer,
YES, you should have gotten them back. There is no credit back for the 17"s it is all included in the msrp. Get them back, that is $$ thrown away. If they don't give them back or give you the run-around, contact Toyota! If I can help, let me know....
