So I was driving home from work tonight, about 9:30. I work in a small restaurant off a bunch of small back roads. I had a bad night at work and was just ready to get out and cruise in my car. I pulled out of work, onto a road ( has a perfect S curve and about 1/8 mile straightaway, my fav.) as I pull out behind a car I notice it is a 2006ish subaru STI. Man do I love those things. So as we are going through the turn he hears my exhaust and shows me why i love his car, and tears through those turns like it was nothing while i'm breaking and doing 35 lmao. He then kicks it on the straight away and I keep up while not wasting my gas. I pulled up to the light next to him and we sat through a cycle just talkin about the cars. Just wanna give props to that guy cause it was so cool that someone for once, respecting my tc instead of laughing as they fly past me (usually i laugh when i catch up to them pulled over lol)

Just thought I would share this story cause I love the STI and it was awesome followin him home just cruising as 2 car enthusiasts.

Lol, I'm just so surprised that he wasn't like other dicks out there trying to prove they are better. But he respected my car and the work done to it, as i did to him. It was really something cool.

Every STI owner I've ever seen driving has been very nice, and never tried to race and babied their cars. I will own an STI in rally blue its going to be my next car. I love them totally obsessed and its the best sounding car ive ever heard. check out iwsti.com

 

STi drivers are usually the biggest douchebags on the road, followed by SRT4, SS, and Si drivers.

 

^ the don't bust on you after you stomp all over them on the highway cause your cars a sleeper and they had no idea you were boosted :D

I can't drive anywhere near one w/o the 16 year old driving the NEON, revving their broke-a$$ sounding engine to redline and giving me this white-boy thug look. I can't stand that siht.

u get the occasional older guy who buys one for who the hell knows why and just DD's it to work.
but majority of owners are younger and use the cars for exactly what they were designed for. lol
