Best Value 16-21k poll
http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1389464
I've been defending the tC over on my350z.com forums (a friend of mine pointed me to the thread http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.p...7&page=1&pp=20) and now they have started a poll. For some reason these people seem to think the Cooper-S is a better value than that tC.
You might have to register to vote, but lets go show them why we think the tC was the right car for us!

I read those 7 pages. What an utter waste of time. At least I was folding laundry while doing it, so I got something done. It was fanboi's personal preference versus people making educated comments with information.
He coulda just said "Mini is better cuz I like it and the tC smells" and it would have saved 6.5 pages of worthless dribble about international economies and dollar strength.

I was talking about the best performance bang for the buck. w/o the SC numbers you can only guess at the numbers. But regardless. with an msrp about 2k lower (Dependant on what they are actually selling it for) the tC will have the best performance bang for your buck. and look better :p

the mini was rated better, but i don't think you can compare the two. the mini s is in another category as far as performance, as is the srt-4. the regular cooper's are slooow. at any rate give me the tC, it looks better than either.

the srt-4 weighs in about 2,800lbs, not even close to 3,800."
i thought there was a mistake

before i moved to the tC camp, i was pretty set on a mini S, but two thing kept me from it:
- the price
- the complete lack of a usable back seat
i'd like to have more then just one passenger in my car, and i don't see how that's possible in a mini. it was pretty much a non-starter after i saw that. i think the tC's back seat is more roomy then the Jetta, which has two extra doors!

If you want *****-to-the-wall speed and a high maintenance bill, get the SRT-4.
If you want a dinky little clown car that has no potential, get the Mini S.
If you want value, reliability, good looks with tons of potential, get the tC.
This isn't a tough choice in my books.
