Man, it's been three days in a row that I get bird poop on my car in the morning I am not sure if it's the same bird, but it sure is annoying as hell. I park under a carport and still gets it. Anything I can do?

 

Wash it off hella quick before it stains! I had a big one on my A-pillar and now it's stained and another one on my door. Get a car cover. They're a pain if you're in a hurry but it'll keep the crap off while it's parked.

 

haha dude it poured here the other day and the field outside my work turned into a little pond, within a half hour there was prob at least 50 seagulls swimming in it and you could just see them ____ing everywhere.

i come out of work and everyones car is completely clean. my SW is completely annihlated, the seagulls did a number on it, i was ____ed.

my buddys said maybe they though it was the mother seagull since its SW. lmao.

 

 

i laughed too, but then said...."why would they isht on it if it was the mother seagul? thats just disrespectful." haha, but they are seagulls so therer brain capacity isnt THAT great. lol

 

They say its best to use vinegar. And dont rub it hard. Birds have rocks in their poo that can scratch your paint.

 

To clean it off I usualy shoot it with the hose nice and hard then gently wipe with sponge to get the chunks out like hawgs said. Then I scrub it good with soap and water... afterwards take some polish if theres marks in the paint and get them out, works great for me (on black car too)

 

quick detailer and a microfiber towel. keep it in your car.

Don't know about you guys but I always notice a group of pigeons hanging around carwashes all day long....always.

There'd been times when I was on my way out and...splat! Score 1 for the birds! Right on the windshield

 

bird poop is corrosive and can crack and eat through your paint. I had this happen to me and caused spider cracks down the front left fender of my car. Luckily Honda took care of it for me for free and I had the front fender cleaned and completely re painted.

 

I hate birds. I'm thinking about getting one of those plastic owls or hawks to sit on my roof when I'm parked. If it works for farmers should work for cars

just went to yahoo, typed in bird repeller and got a but load of products.

but there are lots of other products to be used.

 

I've seen this around at a couple of schools. I'm not sure if it works because I still see a mound of bird poop near the ball. Maybe the birds at school have been educated too much and don't fall for the trick?

so instead of bird poop, you get foamy exploding birds slipping guts all over your car, great idea!

 

OK, so I've got a "stain" right in the center of my hood. Seems to me all of the paint treatment products in the world ain't gonna get it out. At this point, I only see it at certain angles in the sunlight, but I know it's there, and it bothers me. Word to the wise....get the crap-ola off the paint ASAP!!!!

 

How long did you leave the crap on there for it to stain?
