hey .. i was wondering what would go well with a black cherry pearl tc ... im considering taking the stock rims and powder coating them gunmetal grey/anthracite ... wonderin if anyone has gunmetal grey rims or other similar colors and styles that would post pics ... and i just want some suggestions .. thanks

 

got any pics of your ride? i think gunmetal would look sweet.

 

i have yet to purchase a digital camera .. eventually ill borrow one .. cuz i have been doin stuff to my car and i would like to get pics up ... im gonna after i lower it .. put the stocks back on with Pirelli PZero Neros .. and get the front lip on ... the TRD Exhaust is cool .. little loud but nice .. the wing is cool .. i was just lookin for some cheaper way to modify the rims .. saw a IS300 w/ gunmetal grey 'stock' rims and i thought it looked great ... think the color would go well with this car .. i would like to buy rims that are gunmetal grey and have the machined lip .. but im spendin so much $ in other places ..

 

I've been thinking the same thing....although I actually really like the stock rims.

 

I decided that the black and/or gunmetal rims are too much for the black cherry. Either bronze. gold, or silver.

 

I concur with lvnurs9, although I would limit it to either gold or sliver/chrome

 

gold would looke hella sick.... put some gold decals on your car.... get a gold grill for your teeth, and you too can make your tC look like every other ghetto ___ ride there is. Stray away from gold rims

black or silver is the way to go...

 

problem i have with black is that you cant see them that well .. especially at night ... gunmetal kinda has that problem but ya can see them better ... and i was thinkin gunmetal would go well with the color of the car .. maybe with the CF hood or somethin .. i was thinkin a while ago about gettin the stock rims Powdercoated white but too many people shot me down .. oh well .. thought it would look interesting

 

Does any BCP owners have gold rims? I'm curious to see what the Gold Axis Reverbs would look like on Black Cherry... or any photoshops?

Gold would look sik on your color.... goto www.tirerack.com and see what the wheels look like on your car to get an idea of what style you want. Then you change the color in PShop. As long as you pick a good wheel, any color will look good..... except for maybe white. Good luck

I would either go with bronze Volk CE28 or bronze SSR comps. IMO

BARF... and whith a silver lip... double BARF....
don't get me wrong, I love the STi's with gold rims, but the BCP just doesn't look right with gold... the flint mica or BSP would look really good though...

 

I think BCP would look awesome with gold or bronze. Go with gunmetal and be like everyone esle. Nothing wrong with gunmetal or black, but your tC is already diffrent because of the color. So why not step further out the box, go with gold or bronze. If your going to powder coat them go with bronze, I don't think gold would look right. But the reverbs are nice, keep the stocks for winter.

 

that looks interesting ... the doors are cool ... id have to say one of the nicest lookin BCP's to date ... still torn on rim color ... any more pics of the car? im interested in seein what the ground FX looks like ... they dont look stock ...
