Not trying to be a jerk but how can you afford new pistons etc if you couldn't afford the reflash?

yes i got the car back.

and i sold my guitars and my bass to afford this. the reflash i couldnt afford because i didnt have a job. now i do.

im not beating the hell out of the car until i know its safe (which im sure never is, but i live on the edge). im getting it TRAILERED to a dealer to get the reflash. when i get a SC back in.

ive already ordered a few things for her, now all i need is the ARP head bolts, pistons, and bearings. LMAO. i had a minor set back (xmas for the woman)

Wait, I do know where you live!!

if telling the truth is being a dick then i am king dick! if you dont know what your doing nor take the time to figure it out you should not be messing with it. this guy is a perfect example. he probably has no idea how a supercharger even works and figured he could short change the most important part of the install and got burned. if you cant afford to fix the car nor have a beater in case something happens then you dont need to be driving that vehicle.

its not like i was totally forgetting about it. i kept meaning to do it, but ____ kept coming up. i had the money, but the fact that i drove it for THREE WEEKS without a tune i didnt think it would harm it that bad. i didnt think i needed a beater because its not like its a track car, its a FACTORY OPTION. taking the time to figure ____ out on this forum is about as useful as a bicycle without wheels. because you get people who know something mixed with the kids who try to tell you otherwise.

just stop. youre wasting your time

and you my friend have just fallen into the kids trying to tell others otherwise by stating that you drove it for 3 weeks just fine.

and trd springs are a factory option so your telling me if you install 3 of the 4 springs and just leave the 4th one off that it will work? no , 75percent is not good enough. use your head man.

I recently found out that when you switch a supercharger, on the 05,06 tC that you need to buy that little module that came with the supercharger. It looks like an adapter plug. That plug contains part of the download and is a once and done program (least that is what TRD told us) Not only do you need a reflash, but a new flash (for lack of a better term). This is not the dealer part used to reflash either. So it is a little more involved that simply reflashing!!! Thought this would be useful in your quest for supercharger utopia.

i get what youre saying, but i was expecting the reflash to be like 100. i was quoted at 250. i didnt have that money. i had it budgeted out, but it came out over than what i was expecting.
