doesn't that always happen? not even a month.. sheesh.. those stock tires are ALWAYS blowing out. Definitely time for some good Toyo Proxes4 instead. if you can afford it.

WOW! That's a great deal for them to help you out with new wheels, DEFINITELY inspect them all to see if there is any damages on the new ones. Or just take one new one and use that!

Yeah, that would be pretty nice for the dealer to do for you. But if they decide not to, switching to proxes, avons, etc is still much cheaper than the stockers usually are and you get 10 times the tire.

ok so i just got back and it wasnt pretty..not only did they renig on the tires and rims but now i have to pay 190 for the tire..free tires for life my ___, im glad we pay extra everymonth for coverage that doesnt cover blown tires, flat tires or well anything other than the tire wearing out...first he wanted me to pay 245 for it and i was like thats not happening ill bring the car back and buy the cheapest used car u have before i do that..now he says 190 and free installation..call me stubborn but im not paying a dime for this tire..especially when he asked what i hit did it ____ me off, he says "well with all due respect" tires dont just blow out..and my reply is, this tire has 3000 miles on it the tread is still perfect and i know i didnt hit anything so maybe your tires defective???AND i have to wait 4 days for them to even order one so i get to have this yellow gross spare tire on...but im done _____ing to you all now but ill keep you posted....

The warranty for the tires comes with the car, but is not through toyota. And believe it or not, those tires really do run 160 - 180 a piece, which is bad since you can buy avons (10 times the tire in every respect) for 100. Look through your documents that came with the car and look for the bridgestone warranty to see if this fits into it. If they decide it was faulty and replace the tire, then they should pay for the damaged rim as well.

just making sure you werent running the max pressure listed on the tire, which could be as high as 55 lbs, WAY too much for the weight of our car on the tires. Shouldnt have caused this, but good to know.
