Does anyone think that adding the rear portions of the tC bodykit to the stock body, meaning not changing the side skirts and adding the addition to the front bumper would look good? I constantly see the backs of the matrix and they are a little similar to the bodykit rear bumper portion of the tC... Was thinking of just adding that portion.. any approvals??? just curious...

 

I personally think it'll look funny without the side skirts... like you were too cheap to spring for the whole kit. The front and rear will hang lower than the sides. Smoothness is important in this kind of thing.

 

I agree.. I think I was assuming the sides would blend in.. cause of the nature of the back pcs. maybe not.. thx

 

The back may look cool, but think about the rest of the car. If you're going to add a back end, it's not going to make the car look nicer in my opinion. I'm saving up for my bodykit.

 

Very true indeed..I think it's also because I like a front bumper that doesnt have an extension.. it looks nicer as one piece.

 

I was actually kind of thinking the same thing. The front and sides of the car are already lower than the back...seems like you could get a nice look by adding just the rear piece of a body kit to even things out a bit. I'm sure you'd have to go with a pretty mild looking kit, but I still think it might work. Maybe someone on here can photoshop something to get an idea what it might look like. Hmmm...
