Default Bought a 05 TC Few qestions...

Hey bought a 05 Tc on monday, and have noticed a few things that I need to fix.

The first issue is that the wheels had pretty low psi, one was at 15 ! I put all the wheels to 30-32. The tires are not stock looking and it says on the tire itself max pressure 50 psi. The tires look flat still what psi should I be going?

I would like to get some stock blinker bulbs, the guy I bought the car from had some blue ones, and the car thinks that the bulbs are out so they blink fast. Where can I get stock ones? Just like shucks or something?

THe car has almost 50k miles on it what maintenence things should be done? And where can I get stock parts like plugs/wires.? OEM?

for the signal lights see if they are in all the way. I bought some cheap stuff from pep boys and my car did the same thing. until i noticed the bulbs were not in all the way. fixed it and haven't had a problem since.

but you can get the stock bulbs from anywhere. walmart, pepboys, autozone, dealership etc etc.

and you can get lots of parts for your tc from www.trdsparks.com, this includes replacement parts like mechanical parts and body pieces, or accessories.

You can find the bulbs at your local auto parts store (just look them up in the book). The factory reccomends 32/29 front/rear, but I ran 32 all around, if it helps.

well, once again, since no [noobs] one has brought it up yet, you can look, but you won't find any spark plug wires.... since your motor uses coil packs.

Tires should be inflated to approx. 32 psi. 40 MAX. safely anyway... no need to go any higher. read the pressure, does it look flat, or IS it flat?

How much did u pay for it??

i'd check w/ previous owner about service records, really only mainainence u should really worry about is fluids, air filter, brakes. Check to see that all are fine. drive car.

If you need help with your ride goto the PNW section of Scion Life and look up any of us in Team Ascencion

There is bound to be one of us in your local area and if you goto a meet and greet we can get to know you and get you started on a fun adventure with Scions..........

And I am sure one of us has stock bulbs sitting in the garage somewhere you can have..........Brian

I'm sure the dealer can give you a handy-dandy pamphlet with all the scheduled maintenance info. Hopefully you got the service records with the car so you know how it's been taken care of?
